Freshness should be visible beside the result, not buried in a methodology page. I would rather see an old result labeled clearly than see it disappear, because history still matters. It just should not be mistaken for current coverage.

A simple age label would help: tested 34 days ago, 6 months ago, 18 months ago. Then put current batch coverage beside it. Freshness and coverage answer different questions.

Exactly. Historical results should remain searchable because they show continuity and change. The interface just needs to stop an old record from visually borrowing the status of current inventory.
