Should missing dose data count as a failed test?

My instinct is no. Missing is not passing, but it is not the same as a measured failure either. Treating those as one bucket makes a thin record look more certain than it is.

The linked ranking keeps dose-data coverage separate from purity results. That seems like the honest approach: show the score, then show how much of the record could actually be scored. What wording would make that obvious without turning every vendor page into a statistics lesson?

“Dose data available for 18 of 40 reports” is clearer than turning missing reports into a penalty hidden inside one score. Readers can decide how much confidence to place in the measured result.
