The private chat is part of the evidence in a group-buy collapse

The linked investigation reports that private WhatsApp and Discord groups were used to promote the buy, quiet doubt, and move people toward crypto payments. It also reports losses of roughly $150,000 to $178,000 when buyers received nothing. Those are serious allegations, so the underlying dates and records matter.

The part I keep coming back to is the controlled chat. If most of the story happened behind an invite, how do we preserve enough context to check the timeline without dumping private messages or personal information onto the open web?

Build the public timeline from the smallest necessary excerpt. Keep the date, speaker role, message before and after it, and a hash or private archive reference for the fuller record. Remove phone numbers, wallet ownership guesses, and unrelated names.

For this board, a private message should support a specific dated claim. It should not become permission to upload an entire chat. If the public record cannot support the accusation, the thread stays narrow or stays off the board.
