The verification link is live, but where is the lot match?

Editorial composite. This alias and dialogue are rewritten from recurring evidence questions. They do not identify a community member or reproduce a private conversation.

A working laboratory URL establishes that a record exists at that address. It does not, by itself, connect the tested sample to the product page a reader is viewing today.

The missing bridge is usually visible evidence: a matching lot number, a labeled-vial image, a batch index, or another record that ties the report to the item. Without that bridge, “lab record found” is supportable; “current stock verified” is not.

A lab-hosted page is still stronger than a detached image because another reader can inspect it. The interface should call that “report located” and show the batch-link status separately.

That separation also gives someone a precise correction path: add the missing lot evidence without arguing over whether the laboratory record itself exists.
